Birds

We are proud of our reputation as “the birder’s whale watch” in Gloucester. While whales are, of course, the main focus of our trips, many of our crew are avid birders and always keep an eye out for any birds in the area. We make a special point to ensure that birders on board don’t miss any rare—or common—species that we encounter. We’re also proud to participate in the annual Cape Ann Winter Birding Weekend each February, offering birders of all skill levels the chance to spot rare and exciting seabirds such as Atlantic puffins, Razorbills, and Common murres.
