7 Seas Whale Watch contributes data and collaborates with the Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Since the 1970s, the Center has studied individual humpback whales and curates the Gulf of Maine Humpback Whale Catalog, which contains detailed information on individuals, including age, gender, relatedness, reproduction, behavior, distribution, and human impacts.
